The Orioles 2018 Spring Training season opens at home Friday, February 23, when they host the Tampa Bay Rays at Ed Smith Stadium at 1:05. The Grapefruit League season will conclude with the club's home-finale on Saturday, March 24, against the Minnesota Twins at 6:05 PM.
Baltimore will face ten different MLB opponents during their 16-game home Grapefruit League campaign. The Orioles will host the Rays three times at Ed Smith Stadium and the Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Toronto Blue Jays twice each. The Orioles will also square off against the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, and St. Louis Cardinals once each at Ed Smith Stadium.

Individual game tickets can be purchased in person at the Orioles Box Office at Ed Smith Stadium located at 12th Street and Tuttle Avenue in Sarasota. Call the Orioles Spring Training line at 941-893-6300 to receive an order form.
Parking at the stadium is $9.
No umbrellas, hard-sided coolers, thermoses, glass bottles, cans or alcoholic beverages are permitted into the ballpark. You must leave these items in your vehicle before entering the ballpark.
Non-alcoholic beverages in plastic bottles are permitted into the park. All items will be checked at the gates and any beverage which has been opened or partially consumed prior to entry is subject to confiscation if it is thought to contain alcohol. In addition, no plastic or paper cups of beverages are permitted into the park at the entry gates.
All items permitted into the ballpark will be inspected. No bags or items exceeding the maximum size of 16" x 16" x 8" are allowed into the ballpark. Permitted items must easily fit into a 16" x 16" x 8" container. Bags on wheels are prohibited.
No containers or unauthorized items can be left at any park entrance. You will be asked to return them to your vehicle.
No re-entry will be permitted. Once you enter the ballpark, you will not be permitted to leave and re-enter the facility. Please make sure you have everything you need with you before entering the ballpark.
10 of the clubs 16 home games will fall on either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Following any Sunday game, kids age 4 - 14 will be able to participate in a postgame Kids Run the Bases.
The Orioles will also play four evening games at Ed Smith, Feb. 24, March 11, 20 and 24, with all night games beginning at 6:05 PM.
Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Ed Smith Stadium for camp in mid February. Position players will report a few days later. Fans are invited to watch the team's workouts on the back fields at the complex each day. There is no charge to attend, and free parking is available.
