GREAT TEDDY BEAR RUN
Charity event to benefit non-profit KIDS by the SEA, helping local kids with cancer. Sponsored by the Sarasota Harley Owners Group. Includes a bike rodeo, bike show and live music at the Sarasota Fairgrounds. Held each November. For more information call 941-951-7005

HOLIDAY PARADE
Annual family event in held in December in downtown Sarasota featuring marching bands, holiday decorated floats, live music and children's entertainment.

Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide Prevention
Sarasota's annual OUT OF THE DARKNESS walk is open to the general public, survivors of suicide loss, and mental health workers / medical community. The walk is 3 miles in length (5K), with the route along Siesta Key Beach. Sponsored by The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention a National non-for-profit organization. Call 726-2038

SARASOTA MEDIEVAL FAIR
Interactive Medieval Fair. Village marketplace with merchants and food vendors, Human Combat Chess Match, Full-Contact Armored Jousting.
