of 4 had dinner at Marker 4 Restaurant 3/20/10 and rated the
tuna, mahi mahi, baked potatoes, fair because, "poorly prepared
and menu items were not available" and writes: "Although we
arrived well before 7:00, several of the items on the menu were
no longer available, i.e.. baked potatoes, specials, etc. My
husband's meal was not properly cooked and needed to be sent
back three times ,only to arrive when the rest of us were done.
The management was both rude and unsympathetic about the
situation. Food was unacceptable and the management's attitude
was worse."

11 had dinner at Marker 4 Restaurant and rated the seafood,
salads and steaks fair because, "Very ordinary, overcooked and
lacking any real taste." and writes on April 14, 2007, "We
ordered coconut shrimp which was overcooked and dry, the salads
were watery and bland. The tuna steak was overcooked and topped
with some horridly old seeming vegetables. The raw oysters were
some of the best I've ever had, fresh cold and clean tasting, it
would have been nice to have been served the crackers at the
same time as the oysters. Overall, the food at this restaurant
is very overpriced for the quality.
The service was horrendous! I rated the service as horrible,
maybe an minus 25. The elderly blonde woman tending bar couldn't
have been more rude. She made us feel like we were bothering
her. Our server was nowhere to be found, so we had to go to the
bar to get most of our drinks. Our server was inefficient at
best, with the worst attitude I've ever encountered. None of our
food arrived at the same time, some of our party was finished
eating before the last person was served. We were a group of
couples in our the 40 to 50 age range. We are very easy going
and like to spend a lot of money on drinks and food. These
people will NEVER get our business back!!! I'm guessing that
since they are one of the few waterfront restaurants left in the
area, that they feel that they can treat people any way that
they please. Unbelievable!!! Never go to this place unless you
enjoy being abused by the staff. "
