Jamee Walker party of 2 had dinner at Longhorn and
rated the steak, salad, chicken, desert. We went to the
restaurant four times in four days. We loved everything we
tasted! as excellent because, "delicious!! We tried about half
the menu during our four consecutive visits and it was all
delicious" and writes on April 15, 2007, "The whole place is
just fantastic. Being from out of town they made us feel very
welcomed. It is a very relaxed yet professional atmosphere.
You're never over dressed or under dressed. It's a fun, down
south, and really charming place. The owner, Vinny, and all of
his staff are awesome people. On the four nights we were there
we were served by. .i don't recall the first two waitresses
names but on the last two nights we had Eric and Joe. Both of
whom we very polite and attentive. They all made us feel like we
belonged there. In all honesty leaving behind Longhorn was one
of the saddest parts of leaving Florida. If it was possible we
would have taken the restaurant and the whole staff back to
Wisconsin with us. Keep up the good work everyone. We'll
definitely be back. Joe and Vinny: HI!!"

Sally Coleman-Yensch party of 4 had dinner at
Longhorn and rated the food excellent because, "It was
excellent" and writes on August 14, 2006, "our dining experience
was one of the best we've had and we eat out a lot. we we're
coming back from a flea market and decided to stop at longhorn
because we heard it was good. we had buffalo boneless chicken
tenders and onion rings with dip for appetizers and both were so
good. one person ordered steak that was so think and tender and
cooked exactly as ordered. one had shrimp and said it was very
good and a good portion. two of us had chicken. i had the
chicken Portobello. awesome!!! my friend had chicken with bacon
and tomatoes on it (don't remember the name of it). first, you
never get two pieces of chicken in any restaurant, but here we
did. so the portion was excellent. second, the chicken was so
tender, it melted in your mouth. now our waiter, Joe. he was so
good. he was prompt, courteous, funny and did an excellent job.
he even told us when we were leaving that he really enjoyed
waiting on us cause we would joke around with him and have fun
with him. we were the type of people he liked waiting on cause
it made his job more enjoyable. he made our experience more
enjoyable and we like that. nothing worse than a stuffy waiter
with no sense of humor. so all in all, we very much enjoyed
eating at the longhorn and if we are in the area again, we will
be back. "

Joseph Harrelson writes on 3/16/2004: "we were
staying on Siesta Key nearby, looking for a unique eatery but
happened to see the longhorn and the people waiting to go in. we
had a wait of about 20 minutes at the height of the dinner hour.
everyone was courteous and helpful. we were seated and taken
care of until we left. the food was beyond excellent and we went
back the next night just to try something different."
