Sheryl Anderson party of 2 had Sesame tuna, seafood
pot pie and rated the food excellent because, "cooked perfectly and
delicious" and writes on July 14, 2009, "Our first trip to Left
Coast was awful. We waited 15 minutes for non-alcoholic drinks. My
husband and I both had the salmon which came out cold and tough. We
decided to give it another chance and were pleasantly surprised! Our
waiter Jerrod was awesome! Drinks were right out which was a nice
start. We weren't sure what to get after our first fiasco so Jerrod
suggested lobster nacho's as an appetizer. They were delicious; not
your typical chip for nacho's nice and flakey. For dinner we asked
the waiter what was good and he said to give the sesame tuna, and
seafood pot-pie a try. Great choices! The pot pie was hearty and
yummy, and the tuna was prepared perfectly. Much much better second
time around! Needless to say we'll be back and we're asking for
Jerrod!!"

Overall Experience: 1 Anonymous writes on 6/1/2003 that they rate the food
excellent because, "The seafood tasted fresh and you could choose
how you wanted it cooked. Not everything was fried! Plus not
everyone in our party didn't like seafood and they offered other
choices of food other than seafood. Left Coast Seafood was such a
great change to Venice. A great big menu, with reasonable prices.
The portion of the food for the price was excellent. Although, they
don't offer bread with your meal, unless you purchase it. When asked
the waitress why, she replied, "because our prices are already
cheap, and if we were to offer bread they would have to raise the
price." I thought was true, but I still think they should offer some
kind of bread with your meal. We tried the ribs and shrimp and the
N.Y. Strip, and for a seafood restaurant they were great. They
weren't too dry or too juicy. We also tried the seafood Alfredo
which had a little too much Alfredo sauce but was a huge portion for
a great price. Also the chicken finger basket was a great deal you
get about 4 chicken finger with fries and slaw For about 6 bucks, it
was a deal. The only thing wrong with it was the fries were a little
cold. We first started off with a steam pot special. It had a
variety of clams, mussels, oysters, shrimp, and red potatoes. We
barely had room to breath after we ate. The desert menu only had 2
items and they don't have ice cream. THAT was a flaw with the
restaurant. The service was pretty good. The waitress kept up with
our many questions, she made sure we had everything we needed,
cleared our plates when we were through, the only thing she slacked
in was keeping our drinks filled. Over all our visit to Left Coast
were great choice. We were well fed for such cheap prices. The
service was friendly , the food was excellent, and we will be back
again." |
