Jim Beauchamp dined on Vegetable lo mein, orange
chicken, General Gao's chicken and
rated the food excellent because, "it's probably the best
Chinese takeout we've had in Sarasota." and writes on December
9, 2004 "Have been searching for an
acceptable-but-inexpensive Chinese takeout since moving to
Sarasota from Boston several years ago. Stumbled across Ho's one
afternoon while out shopping--it's in the "undesirable" north
part of Sarasota. Ordered takeout, without any expectation that
it would be good. It came quickly and we headed home, there to
be pleasantly surprised that everything tasted great! The lo
mein wasn't greasy, the chicken in the orange chicken was fresh,
the vegetables crip and the rice moist and sticky. We were
delighted and have returned several times since. (They also have
a pleasant looking restaurant area, but we've not yet dined
there.)"
