S. French rated the Singapore Noodles, Broccoli in
garlic sauce poor because,
"not what I ordered.." and writes on May 10, 2010:
"I didn't actually visit the restaurant. I ordered for
delivery as I am staying in a nearby resort hotel without
transportation. When the food arrived I asked the driver if it
had what I asked for specifically. He said, "Yes it is all
in there."
I paid and tipped him.
When I looked in the bag, everything wasn't there. I called
immediately. The woman who answered was very apologetic. She had
forgotten to include everything and said that he had another
delivery and would be back with my stuff.
Then she called five minutes later to say that I was his last
delivery and she was very, very sorry but he was on his way home
and not coming back to the restaurant.
I expressed my disappointment. She again apologized profusely.
Today (next day) I called and asked that it be delivered. She
said, "You still want it delivered?" I said yes
because the food from last night was in my refrigerator. She
asked for the local phone number. I said hang on and I will get
it. SHE HUNG UP ON ME.
When I called back, there was no answer for five minutes. Yes I
let it ring for five minutes. I then hid my called id and phoned
again. This time a male answered the phone. When I started to
explain that I was the delivery the previous night, he said that
I didn't order it or it would have been in the bag. I replied
that not only did I order it, your hostess or whomever
apologized because she forgot to put it in.
He started yelling at me. So I went into an extensive
explanation and said I wanted my product. He said he wasn't
coming over just for that (they have a $20 minimum for delivery)
and said he would get to it when he did. I asked where he would
be bringing it, to make sure he had my correct hotel and
building. He kept yelling that he didn't know, he would bring it
when he did. I said, "Not when, where"? He continued
to yell at me and then HUNG UP!
Twice from the same establishment.
It is not 12:30 a.m. in Florida. Still no delivery.
Do not waste your time or energy providing this establishment
with any of your hard earned money."
