Anonymous party of 2 had dinner at Basil's Flame
Broiled Chicken and rated the Gyro's, Ribs, Salad included with the
Gyro excellent and writes on February 3, 2007, "Ordered 2 Gyro's and
a half slab of ribs. The Gyro's come with a Greek salad which was a
true compliment to the AWESOME Gyro's, and I don't even like Gyro's,
but decided to give them another try. I was so impressed with the
amount of shaved meat. I asked for the cucumber sauce to be on the
side which they complied with, allowing me to add it to my liking.
The Greek salad was perfectly laced with Feta, onions, tomatoes and
topped with a nice pepperocini. I will certainly return for the
Gyro's. Didn't have room for the ribs. Going to heat them up on
Super Bowl Sunday for munchies"

Overall Experience: 1 Morris Greber party of 2 had
lunch at Basil's Flame Broiled Chicken and rated the food fair
because, "The chicken was dry, and could only be used in salads"
and writes on March 7, 2006, "Today, March 7, 2006, I ordered
white meat chicken from your Basil's. The server was cutting the
fresh broiled chicken, and piling it back on the grill front. He
would then take portions from the back of the grill, and serve
it. Even when I complained they gave me pieces just as bad as
the first. Additionally, they served cold baked beans in a thin
liquid. This is not a cheap chicken restaurant. The prices are
well above any other chicken place. I believe a severe problem
exists at this restaurant. At Lunchtime, I used to see it
filled, and slightly after 12.40 PM, I was sitting alone with my
wife. When we ready to leave, a new employee of two days came
over & apologized, which I appreciated. No one else appeared
interested. I quote one of my favorite statements. "Why, after a
restaurant or eating place becomes highly successful, and then
stops doing the very thing that made them successful in the
first place" I've taken this time out to write with the hope
that the old Basil's returns." |
