is all their is to say about Bangkok. Every experience i have
had their has been perfect. When we arrived we were treated very
respectfully, and promptly escorted to our Overly Comfy Pillow
booth beneath a chandelier. The first thing i noticed was the
attention to details, the hand carved tabletops and hand rails,
the quilted pillows and seat cushions, and the exquisite
clothing worn by employees (Which i found out later actually
come from Thailand, the owner goes their once a year and comes
back with them). The menus, (which are also embroidered) contain
a cornucopia of options that will suite anyone's taste
preferences. One of the best things about Bangkok, are the
Soups. Their is no room for skimping when it comes to soup, and
boy, they certainly have not. All I can say about them is, you
gotta try them. On to my favorite part, Dinner. This time I
ordered Red Curry, When prepared correctly, their is nothing
quite like it. Bangkok has by far, the best Curry I have found
in Sarasota. The Jasmine rice is always Hot, Fresh, sticky and
oh so good. This particular time i had 2 plates full. All in
All, I rated this Restaurant Excellent, I did not rate the "Wine
list" because I don't drink. Bangkok is a surreal place to
visit, suddenly you are enwrapped in a different world of dark
woods, pastel pillows and soft decor. A perfect escape from
everything familiar. Which is why i gave "Kid Friendly" poor.
When you are ready to leave, don't forget to take your extra
Thai home with you, your server will be happy to prepare It with
some extra rice for you." |
