The 27-time World-Champion New York Yankees will open their 2010 spring training schedule on March 3, at 1:05 p.m. vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. The Yankees will don their away garb for a World Series rematch against National League champs the Philadelphia Phillies the following day.

The season features six games against the Detroit Tigers and 4 vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Season tickets for the Yankees' complete home exhibition schedule go on sale soon at the Legends Field Ticket Office while individual-game tickets will go on sale in January. For ticket information, fans should call 813-879-2244
